The cemetery was established in 1932. The area of the cemetery is 86 dunams and about 30,000 deceased were buried there. In the cemetery there are four military plots for the martyrs of the War of Independence (1,151 victims). Similar to other cemeteries in Israel, memorials to the victims of the Holocaust were also erected in the Nahalat Yitzhak Cemetery. The cemetery was declared by the National Insurance Institute as a "closed cemetery". Tel.: 03-7953654
